Emerald Ring
Executive Summary about Emerald Ring By Kristy B Ellis
Emerald Rings. A beautiful green color, emeralds are sometimes used on engagement rings or on a wedding band. If you were born in May, an emerald is your birthstone. The earliest known emeralds were found close to the coast of the Red sea in Upper Egypt and Afghanistan, but much as changed because today, the best emeralds are found in Columbia, South America.
In comparison with other precious stones the emerald is completely unique, from the way it is formed to its beautiful color it is because of this that the emerald is one of the most desirable gemstones for an engagement ring. Emeralds can be just as costly - if not more costly - than equivalent diamonds.
The emeralds green color is influenced by the amount of chromium found in the silicate and colors vary in range from green to green blue and yellow green. An emerald ring is definitely more unique than the diamond or any other gemstone available today. Due to their green coloring, emeralds go best with steel colored metals for the ring band.
Purchasing emerald rings is a simple choice if you can afford them. A traditional jeweler will have a wide range of emerald rings.
